About Us

Hi, my name is Gloria Stone. My partner's name is Ken Ralph. We have a one child, Adam. He's eight. We live in the very small community of Monroe, Newfoundland. We have two pets. A dog, Friend and a cat, Peepers. St. John's is the capital of Newfoundland and it's over two hours drive from here.

Monroe, Newfoundland has a population of approximately 40 people. I grew up in Monroe, but I lived most of my adult life in the nearby community of Clarenville, NF. My partner Ken Ralph grew up in Montreal, PQ. He has worked in the oil industry for over 25 years. Ken has two more sons, Chad and Steven, from a previous marriage. Ken has lived in Sarnia, ON, Saudi Arabia and Clarenville, NF. We moved to Monroe with our son Adam in December, 1998.

I am a disabled postal worker. I worked at the Clarenville office for approximately 13 years. I have been disabled since January, 1999. I am very community orientated. While I lived in Clarenville, I was a member of the Ladies Softball, Ladies Broomball, Minor Softball and the Clarenville Area Recreation Association to name a few. Currently, I am a director with local Community Association and I compute the stats for our dart league.

Adam will be attending grade 3 this year (2002). During his kindergarten year, he was chosen as "Student of the Month" at his school, Balbo Elementary. Adam is an excellent student. He's very interested in video and computer games.
